At a glance
| Area | What it means |
|---|---|
| Dreamcatcher version | v0.9.5 Early Access — Game Feel + Workflow Integration |
| Godot version | Godot 4.6–4.7, with Godot 4.7.1 recommended. |
| Best starting point | Install the plugin, open the Dreamcatcher dock, then follow the first playable scene tutorial. |
| Main workflow | Choose/build → connect supported Workflow Bindings where useful → validate → playtest → export-preflight through Godot. |
| Featured tools | 24 editor tools for maps, UI, visual logic, narrative, generated assets, validation, export preparation, and more. |
| Genre helpers | Universal profile plus 42 genre DNA profiles for starting different kinds of projects. |
| Generated assets | Maps, sprites, icons, audio, VFX, palettes, dialogue UI, database resources, and other project assets. |
| Important boundary | v0.9.5 bindings are explicit and opt-in. Supported workflows do not auto-wire arbitrary custom architectures, and Assign/Apply remains separate from Runtime Bound state. |
| Asset rights | Use only assets you created, own, or are licensed to use. |
Version and scope
This website is synchronized to Dreamcatcher v0.9.5 Early Access — Game Feel + Workflow Integration. Dreamcatcher v0.9.5 targets Godot 4.6–4.7, with Godot 4.7.1 recommended. Exact build-level evidence remains in the technical QA matrix.
v0.9.5 adds opt-in Workflow Bindings for supported UI, semantic audio/VFX, animation-event, accessibility/localization, generated-asset promotion, validation, migration, Event Monitor, and export-readiness paths while preserving existing v0.9.4 behavior by default.
It does not claim universal arbitrary-architecture auto-wiring, certified accessibility, automatic human-quality localization, full Starter Game builders, generalized no-code database/relationship editing, comprehensive save migration, complete export/pack hardening, or v1-stable guarantees.
Documentation and version-history map
